A wonderful experience. Definitely on the pricier side for men's haircuts, but well worth it. You are greeted with a drink of your choice at the outset, then whisked out back on a nice chair. The barbers are very very good at what they do, and are good conversationalists or quiet as you prefer. A head wash and mini massage, a hot towel and a spritz of cologne later and you feel like a million dollars. This was my fourth time there and will definitely be going back.

Quick scene setting here. I've been hiding behind hair and a beard because of anxiety etc for over three years. No haircut in that time. No trim, no shave. My hair was almost butter length, beard like... 50cm or something. But soon I'm getting married and now I need to try and improve things. I hoped that if I found the fanciest, nicest looking place I could, they might be able to sort something out for me. I admit I was terrified. I didn't pick a specific barber. I got Lyn (I hope that's the spelling sorry Lyn!) She talked about it with me, we looked at some pictures, I gave her my general ideas, asked for her advice, took off my glasses and left it to her. And am still walking around being amazed at reflective surfaces, with probably the best hair cut I've ever had in my life. Thank you Lyn!! They know their stuff here. It was calm, so relaxing. Amazing haircut and shave. For my situation personally, this could have gone terribly for so many reasons. But instead it's a happy story in the lead up to my wedding.

Overpriced and unimpressive "shave" - this is not a whinge about the cost, just the overall service - the young guy cutting had no idea what fade and shape meant; the glass of whiskey I was offered never arrived and I was ushered out the door to make way for the next customer after 15-20 minutes. Plenty of professionals in Canberra that will do a full, proper job, for half the price. ** update to the response ** There are not too many men named Wolf in Canberra, so nice try about trying to imply that I am a fake review. How many Wolf's do you get in the door? The guy who did my beard was Kevin. Fade and shape means to do a fade from the ear to the jaw in length of the beard and shape means to get the pointyness of the beard correct. Neither of which this guy could do. There were two girls out front on reception and no other customers. How they could ask my choice of drink, then forget is beyond me. I was out the door about 20 minutes later. Yes you have a lot of 5 star reviews; but you are only as good as your last performance, and your shop blew it. Accept and move on, as have I.
